Meet Our Team
Adam Munce
Lead Facilitator, Owner/Director
Adam is an Ontario certified teacher and has his Child and Nature Alliance Practitioner Certification. He has taught in the public education system for 8 years and has additional qualifications in Special Education, Mathematics and Music. Adam is a proud and active father of 4.
Along with nature and mountain biking, Adam is passionate about music. He heads a local originals band as the singer-songwriter playing the guitar, ukulele and mandolin. Adam believes we must teach the whole child to truly provide balanced education. By providing varied experiences, asking rich questions and engaging in open dialogue and discussion, we can develop learners’ ability to think critically with confidence and create meaning in the world in which we live.

Beckie Munce
Owner/Director
Beckie is an Ontario Certified Teacher with a specialist in Special Education and extra qualifications in mathematics. She has taught in the public education system for 17 years. Beckie is also a qualified and trauma informed yoga instructor and hockey coach. Beckie loves being a mom to three boys and enjoys adventuring in all types of weather in a variety of surroundings with her family. She is passionate about building youth capacity for facing adversity in a way that feels authentic to each individual. She believes that time outdoors is the antidote to over-stimulated, underactive kids growing up in a tech-saturated society. Beckie is currently on a medical leave and all communications should be directed towards Adam.

Terri Nikolasevic
Early Childhood Educator
Terri is an Early Childhood Educator and has been sharing her love of learning for over 20 years while teaching and learning with children. She enjoys dancing, singing, gardening, water sports, and snowmobiling.
Terri believes authentic opportunities in natural environments foster children to develop inquisitive minds and a genuine excitement for learning. “A stick,” you say . . . oh the possibilities! She is passionate about seeing all children succeed in a way that brings them fulfillment, honours their individuality, and helps them to recognize themselves, and each other, as important members of a learning community.

Amy Williams
Facilitator
Amy is a homeschooling mom of two, who is very passionate about encouraging everyone to play! She believes that play is essential to all of us, especially children and whether you are 1 or 101 there is always room for more opportunities to discover, adventure and play!
It is Amy’s goal to create a safe space for children to explore their imagination, discover the answers to questions like “what happens when I do this?”, get messy during the process, and to find and be their genuine selves. She believes being outdoors allows for a less distracted environment for children to really get to know themselves through risky play, connection with others and connection with all the beauty that nature has to offer.
Amy has been working with kids for over 20 years in many different settings. Such as volunteering at community events, including making slime and other crafts at children’s tables, teaching figure skating, being a part of the Big Brother Big Sister program and coordinating a teen esteem program for young girls. She has also worked as a party planner for Bingemans FunworX and worked for 10 years at Idea Exchange Cambridge Library, creating and facilitating children’s programs. She has a BA degree in Sociology and Child and Youth Studies that she completed at Brock University. She is currently enrolled in the Forest and Nature Practitioners Course. She is very excited to be learning even more about building a better connection to our land, and being able to integrate that into guiding children in nature in a fun and play-filled way!

Kenzie Bove
Facilitator
Kenzie has over 15 years of experience working with children, including many years as a nanny, facilitating children’s macramé workshops, and teaching Home Alone and Babysitting courses that support confidence, independence, and practical life skills.
She holds a degree in Biology and a diploma in Practical Herbalism, and has a strong interest in foraging wild edibles and using plants as medicine. Kenzie enjoys sharing her knowledge about the plants around us, encouraging curiosity, care, and respect for the land.
Kenzie has solo travelled to over 15 countries and spent time living in intentional communities immersed in nature. These experiences shaped her belief in living in sync with the rhythms and cycles of the earth. She holds multiple yoga training certifications and weaves mindfulness, movement, and breath into her work with children.
Outside of work, Kenzie can usually be found camping, foraging, or making things with her hands. She enjoys just about every kind of craft—if it involves string, sticks, fabric, clay, or a half-finished project on the table, she’s probably tried it.

Jess Nicholson
Facilitator
Jess Nicholson is an Ontario certified teacher who has taught in the public education system for over 15 years. Recently she followed her heart and completed the Forest & Nature School Practitioner Course and has never looked back. Ebb & Flow was the natural fit for this next chapter in her life.
Jess is the best version of herself in outdoor spaces where she intentionally honours her mental, physical, spiritual health and well-being. In doing so, she is deeply committed to inviting young children to connect with, engage, and explore the Land. Through this, they will become active co-stewards learning to value, care for, and protect Mother Earth for years to come.

Justine Timmermans
Facilitator
Justine Timmermans is an Early Childhood Educator with over 20 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. She believes children learn best when they are free to be themselves, take risks, get messy, ask questions, and spend meaningful time outdoors.
She strives to create environments that invite wonder, encourage resilience and independence, and honours each child’s unique way of learning. Her goal is to bring joy, nurture confidence, and foster a deep connection to community, nature and to self.
Justine is also a mother to four sons and the wife of a hardworking farmer. Life on the farm has given her a deep appreciation for land stewardship and the importance of time spent outdoors. Over the years she has become what she likes to call a “Career Volunteer.” Justine has and continues to serve on several minor sport executive boards, plans tournaments and fundraising efforts, has volunteered for school reading programs, was a 4H Cloverbuds leader, a hockey team manager, and she is certain the list won’t end there. She believes strongly in community and is determined to do what she can to make hers better.
Justine’s love of the land, working with children, and commitment to her community has found a welcoming home here at Ebb and Flow Forest School.
